Let Go - Feel the Flow - Enjoy the Ride

As a routine I usually conclude a Reiki Class with the five statements of intention. I find it more appropriate than opening it with them simply because it eliminates any possible doubt of dogmatism in Reiki teachings. After all, we do not know what other people know.
The experience of letting go is one of awakening. How to let go is a self-journey and an adventure in the complex realms of life.
Statement #1: Do not worry - Worry will only add complexity - and is a waste of (so precious) energy...
Statement #2: Do not anger - Anger is useful only when there is awareness of it and efforts to eliminate it. But fundamentally anger is absolutely useless... To live a life without anger is the aim...
Statement #3: Live in integrity - Do what you say you would, walk the talk...
Statement #4: Respect all forms of life: people, animals and energy itself...
Statement #5: Live in gratitude... gratitude, not a mere thankful attitude, gratitude from the heart and the soul.


The practice or simply the reminder of these intentions of living a life of letting go, will enhance your reality. Thoughts are energy and the trick is simply about releasing control. Plan, prepare, and then let go. Give it to the Universe to unfold. In 2009, when my life took a U-turn i had not expected, I started to grasp every single inches of it. Until the day I realise i was actually trying to grab running water.. which is obviously very difficult by the very nature of water.
