Scientific Studies about Reiki

Debates abound on how to measure and quantify Reiki Healing. It's been a while and the use of basics of quantum physics helps understand how electromagentic fields operate. Moreover, experiments abound also on how to measure the benefits of a Reiki treatment. Most advanced research is undertaken in the US and in Australia and give evidence of key benefits in various types of ailments:

- Diminishing physical pain of wounds, scars; (particularly effective also in cancer treatments, including AIDS patients))
- Reducting heart rates, and blood pressure, providing a sense of calmness;
- Increased wellness and sense of energy;

Considering the body as a field of electrical energy (we all have experienced static shocks) this body can emit and receive frequencies. This is partly what happens when we give/receive a reiki healing treatment.

Acupuncture is a method of healing which uses energy channels. reiki uses the same energy channels when it connects to a physical body. So in practice a Reiki Heling Hands-On treatment is following key positions on the path of those meridians.

Publications about scientific Studies on Reiki and further research is available in the following Magazines: Alternative Therapies Magazine, Subtel Energies and Energy Medicine Journal. Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, Western Journal of Medicine, Journal of National Cancer Institute, Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, European Journal of Oncology Nursing.
